This information took over 8 hours to collect and verify - it seems our township has found a way to "hide in plain sight" when they attempt to be "open and transparent." The check registers which document these legal payments January to September [Download 2010 Check Register] and have been consolidated into one file for your convience (a convenience which is not afforded a citizen interested in getting to the bottom of where their money is going).

Another shock - $2375 spent in ONE DAY - no kidding – Bill Part one, Bill Part two ("strangely" the charges are separated, so you might not notice them).
These bills contain charges from writing or reviewing the township newsletter, and costs exceeding what the cost of the issue is....such as evicting the Salem post office - do they really think spending our money on legal bills - which helps no one except the lawyer - is better than leaving the post office alone? Seriously?
